Ask Alice works closely with Pembroke House School and recognises that many of their pupils live outside of Kenya.
Pembroke House asks that these overseas pupils each have an appointed guardian.
We provide a caring guardianship service in the following ways, making your child a priority and helping them to thrive whilst at school in Kenya:.
- Meet the child at school at the beginning of each term - with a spoiling milkshake at The Martlet Cafe at the school
- Be the experienced and professional link between school and home
- Be informed by the school at any time the child is unwell or injured
- Meet them at the hospital should they need treatment in times of emergency
- Take them to scheduled medical/dental appointments
- Assist with the buying of school uniform, new shoes and sports equipment
- Be the child's point of contact in Kenya, with a link between the school and the parents
- When possible, to watch matches, performances and other school events
- A point of contact for the parents, if concerned about the child at any stage during term time
